Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2023 | Priyanka Chopra makes a stunning appearance in traditional white saree for her interaction with Bhumi Pednekar

Priyanka Chopra, the global icon, recently arrived in Mumbai to attend the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival 2023. Her captivating presence at the opening ceremony made headlines all over. She made head turns by her choice of attire as she graced the carpet in a shimmery Tony Ward couture gown featuring ruffles and embellishments. She kept her fans’ hearts racing even on the second day of the festival. Draped in a floral traditional saree, the actress looked drop-dead gorgeous in an easy-breezy Sabyasachi ivory colour palette.

Priyanka’s graceful ivory saree adorned with floral prints in pink, lavender, brown and green got everyone’s attention. Adding a modern spin to the attire was a sleepless blouse with a sultry V-neck which she carried well. Priyanka completed her look with a chunky choker necklace and a pair of statement rings. Keeping her tresses open, she opted for glam makeup and went for bold red lip color and kohl-laden eyes.

On the second day of the festival, a masterclass was organised with Bhumi Pednekar which was attended by Priyanka Chopra and a video of the event is now available on the internet. During the conversation, the actress also shared her opinions on the challenges faced by female-led films saying it feels like a ‘collective failure on behalf of all women’.

She said, “There’s a lot of pressure when you have a female-led film, and because we have so few. We are seeing the success of female-led films more and more, but that’s tough. When a female-led film doesn’t do well I feel the collective failure on behalf of all women. I feel we have taken them a few steps back. This has to work because there are a few of us who get the opportunity to do this, and we have to do it well.”

For those unversed, the Citadel actress lives in Los Angeles with her husband and popular singer-actor Nick Jonas. The couple is parents to a beautiful daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Priynaka is the chairperson of the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival which is being held from 27 October to 5 November.
