Katy Perry put on a loved-up display with her fiance Orlando Bloom as she arrived at the MTV Video Music Awards – days after he was photographed taking an admiring glance at Kim Kardashian‘s backside at a gala.
The couple sweetly held hands as they puckered up for a kiss on the red carpet.
Orlando – who shares four-year-old daughter Daisy with Katy – gazed adoringly at her as they held hands on the red carpet.
Katy – who is set to be honored with the Video Vanguard Award this evening – looked absolutely incredible in a shredded white look by Who Decides War that displayed her honed abs.
The sexy style was complete with a frayed crop top that accentuated her cleavage as well as a coordinating skirt.
She rocked the wet hair look as her jet black tresses cascaded down in ultra glossy ringlets.
Make-up consisted of a dramatic hue of smoky eye shadow, pink blush, and a matte lip.
In another edgy twist, she accessorized with a metallic arm band – and a QR code etched into her lower back.
Orlando, meanwhile, let his partner steal the spotlight as he donned a look that ensured Katy would remain the center of attention.
The Lord Of The Rings star sported a smart black suit paired with long-sleeve top.
The appearance came days after he appeared to sneak at peek at Kim Kardashian’s backside while attending the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women Dinner with Katy Perry.
The actor — who looked particularly debonair in classic black tie attire — was seen looking down toward Kim’s backside while he stood next to his fiancée and had an arm placed on her side.
Katy has since shared her reaction to the viral photo.
During an appearance on the Elvis Duran Show, she discussed the image she and Orlando took with Kim.
‘It’s you taking a photo with Kim Kardashian, and Orlando is staring at her,’ the host said, while laughing. Katy chimed in, ‘at our,’ and Elvis completed the sentence, ‘at her butt.’
He went on, ‘I mean how could you not?’ Katy responded, ‘I approve.’
The hitmaker proved to be unbothered about the situation, as she asked, ‘So wait, what’s the controversy?’
‘There is no controversy,’ the host replied.
‘Oh great,’ she stated.
Elvis continued to read an article about the event Katy and Orlando attended, which described images of them with the actor’s hand ‘right above Katy’s butt.’
‘It’s been other places,’ she quipped, adding, ‘sorry to tell you. My daughter is four.’
Katy, meanwhile, is set to receive the Video Vanguard Award this evening.
‘Katy is a musical powerhouse and true pop culture icon,’ said Bruce Gillmer, chief content officer of music at Paramount+ and president of music, music talent, programming and events at Paramount in a statement, according to AP.
‘With her game changing creative vision, she has become a global phenomenon and taken over the world’s biggest stages,’ added Gillmer.
Past winners of the Video Vanguard Award include David Bowie, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, and Pink.
The award comes as Perry prepares to release her upcoming seventh studio album 143. Her comeback single from the album, Woman’s World, flopped in the charts following its release over the summer.
Additionally, she was heavily criticized for collaborating on Woman’s World with Dr. Luke, the music producer accused of sexual assault by Kesha in a lawsuit that was later dismissed. Dr. Luke has consistently denied the allegations.
