Kenzo Announces Collab With Japanese Designer Verdy

The French brand partners with cult-crowd favourite Japanese designer to create custom graphics for the House’s Spring/Summer 2024 runway collection.

2023 has been an exciting year for fashion collabs enthusiasts. And now, wrapping up the year in grand style, Kenzo announces a partnership with cult-crowd favourite designer Verty, on the creation of custom graphics for the House’s Spring/Summer 2024 runway collection, unveiled during the latest Men’s Fashion Week in Paris.

The collection will be launched at an exclusive KENZO pop-up store on the Champs-Élysées
in Paris from December 2nd to December 17th, and at 10 Corso Como in Seoul from
December 16th to December 26th — a symbolic “East Meets West” bridge for the
House.

A close friend of Artistic Director Nigo, VERDY is a Japanese graphic artist whose bold, playful designs and vibrant colours are conquering masses, bringing influences from skateboarding, hip-hop and manga to his craft. His signature font will be seen emblazoned across a selection of garments for the holiday season, selected from Fendi’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection designed by Nigo. Think woven pieces, knitwear, denim and leather pieces, all revisited by VERDY, including the Maison’s classic spelled-out logo pieces.
