Latto is set to make history as she becomes the first woman to ever headline Atlanta’s Birthday Bash concert, hosted by Radio One station Hot 107.9 every summer.
The “Sunday Service” star shared the news that she will headline the annual event on June 22 with a video clip that sees her recreating a scene from her latest music video, while heading to the radio station wearing a shirt that reads.”
Latto celebrated becoming the first woman to topline the festival, writing on social media: “1ST FEMALE TO HEADLINE BIRTHDAY BASH!!! @hot1079atl I’m bringing out hellaaaaaaa special guests [fire emojis].”
The event also unveiled a number of other names scheduled to appear at the show including Key Glock, Killer Mike, Boosie Badazz and Tee Grizzley with more artists to be announced a later date. The announcement also stated that Latto will be accompanied by “friends” — meaning lots of special guests, though no names were confirmed.

Latto has had a busy 2024 so far as she continues her feud with Ice Spice.
The Bronx rap star recently took aim at the “Put In Da Floor” hitmaker on her song “Think U the Shit (Fart),” where she rapped: “I got my foot on they necks, I can’t let up/ She all on the floor, told her get up.”

Latto then responded to Spice, spitting on her hard-hitting new track: “Think I’m the shit, bitch, I know it, ho/ Jesus walked on water, I got ice boilin’ though”.
The song includes other less obvious stabs at her contemporary including: “These bitches corny, soon as monkey see, then you know monkey do/ Do you rap or do you tweet?/ ‘Cause I can’t tell, get in the booth, bitch” and “I just want a one on one, don’t know why she so nervous.”
“Sunday Service” also hears her threatening a confrontation if she and Spice are booked on the same bill: “Every time y’all book me with them hoes, it’s gon’ be big drama.”
Latto later denied that she was dissing her fellow female rapper at all.

Replying to Elliott Wilson’s criticism of the track and the disses within the lyrics, Latto claimed: “Who tf ever said it was a diss??? Video at noon I’m finna go live yallllll.”
Despite all of the talk around the track, “Sunday Service” failed to make much of an impact on the charts, so far reaching a peak of 100 on the Billboard Hot 100.
