My eyes, too, rolled to read the term “pregnant people” in a recent story published in the Sentinel. It is only our XX contingent who does the child-bearing around here and the standard term, “woman,” is perfect for that reference.
At some point the far, far, far minority has to fit into society rather than the whole of society having to gyrate to accommodate individual fashion sense.
