Pop star Lizzo proudly showed off her body in a new video advertising her Yitty brand shapewear.
“New year, new me,” the Grammy winner said as she modeled multicolor sports bra and legging sets. “The booty is lifted — booty to the sky.”
“You don’t have to wait to feel like the best version of yourself,” she added in her Monday video, which was set to Beyoncé’s “My House.”
Despite the positive post, Lizzo remains in the middle of an ongoing lawsuit alleging sexual harassment and discrimination by three of her former employees.
The “Truth Hurts” singer has since denied “generally and specifically each and every allegation contained,” citing that the former backup dancers who filed the suit are “opportunists” looking for “a quick payday.” In October, the singer’s legal team filed a motion to dismiss the suit in a Los Angeles court.
In November, Lizzo shared that she’s “working… on music, myself, relationships with people and food, my anxiety, my body, my business, and my trust issues with the world… but they are deep now, deeper than they’ve ever been.”
