The Criminal Assets Bureau has seized two luxury cars, Rolex watches, designer handbags and a sum of cash following a search operation in north Dublin this morning.
The operation involved searches at a number of locations, targeting an organised crime group involved in drug trafficking firearms crime. During the operation, gardai seized a VW VW Passat R Line, a VW Golf R Line, a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust watch and box (value €9,050), several designer handbags (value €6,850) and cash worth €2,555.
A garda spokesman described today’s operation as a “significant development.” The search was carried out by personnel from the Criminal Assets Bureau.
They also had support from the Emergency Response Unit, and DMR North District Detective and Drug Unit personnel.

The Customs Dog Unit also provided assistance during the operation.
A garda spokesman said: “In addition to the above assets, files and documentation were also seized.
“Today’s operation targeted an Organised Crime Group involved in drug trafficking and firearms crime. It marks a significant development in this ongoing investigation.”
