Ma$e has issued a warning to men in a relationship about what he considers an obvious “red flag”: a woman’s decision to hire a male personal trainer.
The humorous caveat was issued during the latest episode of It Is What It Is, which dropped on Thursday (February 29).
The episode kicked off with moderator Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson reading a report about a source close to Tom Brady revealing last week that the retired NFL player has “accepted” that his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen’s relationship with her trainer began long before their divorce was finalized in October 2022.
Asked about his thoughts on the situation, Ma$e started out on a serious note, before offering his unique insight.

“Whenever you break up with somebody it’s like a death, you go through the grieving process, you get angry, all of those things. That’s just what they say,” he said. “But to say that he’s finally realized she was cheating: did he not know before? Lemme tell you fellas something: if the girl got a trainer, number one, she coulda got a female trainer. The fact that she got a male trainer is already kinda like a red flag.
“And if he wear those kind of pants, pause, like them Dry-Fit Nike pants, that’s really tight, pause. And then he wanna wear the shirt with his company on it. He probably smashin’. Cause he’s constantly telling her, ‘Go down; get up; go deeper.’ So in her mind, she’s used to hearing ’em say all of this. It’s gonna be almost like he’s planning Brady’s demise by doing this. He settin’ her up.”
Ma$e and longtime friend Cam’ron‘s newfound popularity as sports commentators is due in no small part due to the fact that the two have never held back from joking about athletes and music industry professionals on their show.
On another episode last week, it was Drake and Dame Dash who found themselves in the Harlem duo’s comedic crosshairs.
The February 28 episode of It Is What It Is opened with Stat Baby bringing up a rumor about the co-hosts purchasing the entrepreneur’s Roc-A-Fella shares amid his legal and financial troubles.
“Let’s just say, Killa, I did for $20,” Murda said while pulling out the cash from his jacket. “Who would I sell it to? First I was thinking, ‘Man, I’d probably sell it to Drake.’ Drake probably would want to buy it from me.”

“Drake was trying to buy Evander Holyfield‘s earlobe,” Cam added laughingly. “Drake is out her copping shit — he bought Pharrell’s skateboard chains. I actually done some business with Drake. I’ll let him announce it whenever he want to announce it, but he’s out here copping shit.”
