Mary J. Blige brought her usual head-turning fashion to the Clooney Foundation For Justice’s “The Albies” event on Thursday in New York City.
The award-winning songstress arrived wearing a white blazer minidress, which featured textured shimmering embroiled detail throughout. Blige paired her outfit, which included a fringe skirt, with Amina Muaddi pumps.
Blige is fresh off of New York Fashion Week, where she wore a number of high-profile fashion looks.
Blige promoted her wine brand Sun Goddess Wines with MCM wearing a black corset tank minidress.
“Sun Goddess Wines is such a part of who I am and an extension of me,” Blige told WWD during the event. “The world of wine is so connected to both hip-hop and fashion because music and fashion are two industries that are always celebrating something.”
At the Clooney Foundation for Justice-helmed ceremony, which was created by George and Amal Clooney, Blige snapped shots with Michaela Jae Rodriguez, Heidi Klum and Sofía Vergara and more celebrities.
This year’s ceremony was named after the judge and anti-apartheid activist, Justice Albie Sachs.
The 2023 Clooney Foundation for Justice’s “The Albies” marked the second annual Albie Awards. Held in New York City, the event not only honored the late activitist Justice bath, but celebrated newer pro-justice activists across industries. Alongside Blige, Kate Moss, Charlotte Tilbury, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt were in attendance.
