Mayim Bialik Posts Dancing Video Filled With Hip-Swiveling And…

It’s been nearly half a year since Mayim Bialik last appeared on Jeopardy. Despite stepping away from her role as co-host of the hit game show to stand in solidarity with the ongoing Hollywood strikes, the Big Bang Theory actress appears to be living her best life.

Earlier this week, Mayim donned a pair of bright yellow overalls as she danced around her house to a Pitbull song on National Dance Day. The video she posted to Instagram was chock-full of jumping, hip-swiveling and booty-shaking.

“Let’s dance it out together!” she captioned the high-energy post, which earned praise from her followers in the comments section.

One wrote, “You are a National Treasure,” while another added, “I didn’t know you needed a video like this until I saw it. We love you!!”

“You’re still as funny as you were as a kid. Haha Thank you. I needed to see this video [and] make me laugh,” a third person commented, before someone else said, “Thanks for putting a big smile on my face.”

Aside from popping and locking around her home, Mayim has also appeared on a recent episode of Saturday Night Live alum Vanessa Bayer and her brother Jonah Bayer’s How Did We Get Weird podcast, where they reflected on charm necklaces.

Bialik — who was officially named Ken JenningsJeopardy co-host last year — backed out of taping the previous season’s last week of shows to support the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike, prompting Jennings to step in.

Now that the game show has returned to filming for Season 40, Bialik is still nowhere in sight. Celebrity Jeopardy, which the Call Me Kat star previously hosted by herself, was also handed over to Jennings in her absence.

It could be a long time until Bialik returns to her regular hosting duties. According to a report by TVInsider, the actress will likely not be coming back to Jeopardy! until a few months into 2024, as long as the WGA strike is resolved. Plus, she may have to choose between hosting the game show and any future acting roles.

You know what they say: don’t wait for the storm to pass, learn to dance in the rain. And that is just what Bialik seems to be doing.
