In a sea of celebrities opting out of elaborate manicures, we know we can always count on Megan Fox to buck the trend and bring extravagant nails to the table. So many people are toning it down and avoiding nail art with barely-there polish and short-and-sweet French manicures. But even when Fox is feeling like a French mani, she does it her way.
On Monday, July 15, Los Angeles-based nail artist Brittney Boyce—the go-to manicure maven for Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, and Charli D’Amelio—posted her latest famous-fingertips photo on Instagram. In it, we get a clear shot of Fox’s new manicure, and while it’s on the subtle side for the actor, it’s definitely still super glamorous,.
For all intents and purposes, it’s a traditional French manicure: a sheer pink base is topped off with white tips. But unlike your average French mani, the white tips take more than half of the space on her extra-long, squared-off nails. But to really elevate the look, Boyce added three iridescent gems to each nail: one on the pink, and two on the white. And depending on the angle, they look pink, yellow, or clear.
