Miranda Writes takes center stage at New York Fashion Week 2024 with unforgettable appearances, from opening Hip Hop Closet’s runway show to rocking The Fashion Life Tour and hosting the Canvas 3.0 fashion and art extravaganza. Miranda also treated audiences to a debut of her upcoming single “Pose” live at each happening!

For the second consecutive year, the dynamo that is Miranda Writes has helped kick off New York Fashion Week and provided an exclusive perspective for The Hype Magazine as our unique special correspondent…she walks, hosts, and performs at multiple top-ranked happenings for the opening of the fashion world cause celebré in New York. This Hip Hop polymorph has been highlighted in Forbes for her groundbreaking brand ambassadorship with Burton Snowboards as the first female rapper to enter the adrenaline-charged world of snowboarding. Continuing her history-making jaunt in the sports world, Miranda just finished her second consecutive world tour as the official Emcee for the world-famous Harlem Globetrotters, and THIS TIME, she took on the European leg with over 50 appearances…becoming the first female to headline at the Emcee spot on that leg in the 96-year run of the tour.

Kickoff was Saturday, September 7th with the opening of the Hip Hop Closet Sixth Annual Fashion Week Runway Show

Miranda Writes helped open up New York Fashion Week with a high-energy performance at Hip Hop Closet’s Sixth Annual Fashion Week Runway Show, held at the iconic Brooklyn Navy Yard. The event was packed with industry insiders, tastemakers, and fashion aficionados who were there to support Kyiesha Kelly‘s sixth annual showcase. With Fall Fly Fashions on full display, Miranda set the tone for the evening, combining her Hip Hop flair with the fierce runway looks from K.I.C. NYC and Tai Chunn Brand Collection.

That Same Evening, Miranda Appeared for the Fashion Life Tour by Kiara Belen

Invited back for 2024, Miranda returned for her second appearance for the evening, taking the stage for “The Fashion Life Tour” (TFL), hosted by Kiara Belen, CEO and alum of America’s Next Top Model. Held at The Westin in Times Square, this stop on the TFL tour was a night to remember as over 20 brands, designers, and models came together for an upscale fashion experience.

The TFL tour is known for spotlighting emerging designers and artists, and Miranda’s presence solidified her as a key figure in the creative world. Surrounded by celebrity designers, international models, and entertainers, she delivered yet another electrifying performance. As the beats dropped and the runway lit up, Miranda’s Hip Hop vibe blended seamlessly with the chic ambiance of the event, offering a fresh perspective on the intersection of music and fashion with “Pose” creating quite a stir.

Canvas 3.0 at Oculus Mall — Where Fashion, Art, and Music Collide

On Sunday, September 8th, Miranda Writes, styled by Khaliah Clark, hosted and performed at Canvas 3.0, the most talked-about party of New York Fashion Week 2024, held at the Oculus Mall at the World Trade Center. In an unforgettable fusion of fashion, music, and art, this event brought together artist and designer KIR and legendary designer and performance artist Kelo Gramzunkut, creating a sensory overload that blended couture, visual art, and banging music.

The night featured stunning designs, including self-made leathers, swimsuits, lingerie, and avant-garde summer gowns. With DJ FatFingaz spinning the hottest tracks and performances by Vina Love, Sasha Prendes, Gramzunkut, and of course, our Miranda Writes. The happening was nothing short of spectacular. Miranda, with her electrifying energy, held down the stage and hyped up the crowd, making sure the vibe stayed lit all night long.
