Teen Vogue caught up with fashion’s it-girl and Los Angeles-native, Gabbriette, at one of L.A.’s buzziest fashion events of the season – a mini music festival celebrating H&M’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection.
This music festival felt far from mini, bringing together the city’s coolest crowd, including Alex Consani, Amelia Gray, Tyla and Laufey to name a few, for a celebration of fashion, music, joy and community. With a diverse range of performances including headliners Doechii, Jamie XX and Robyn, Downtown L.A. was pulsing with energy from start to finish. “Last night was really special. The energy was just right, the vibe was everything,” Doechii said in a press release.

With the bass from Jamie XX’s bumping through the air and setting the tone for night, we caught up with Gabbriette. Staying true to her signature ‘90s style, she stunned in a satin bra top paired with a midi skirt. She completed the look with wedge heels, a white furry bag, and her current favorite trend: chrome nails. Her sleek bun and minimal makeup look matched her minimal, skin-centric outfit–perfect for a hot night out in L.A..
Read all about Gabbriette’s look, advice for her teen self, and dancing below.

Teen Vogue: You look amazing. Tell us what you’re wearing tonight.
Gabbriette: Thank you! I’m wearing the H&M Club Bra — I thought it was baby blue, but it’s silver — and then just this little vintage skirt.

TV: Although you are a major trendsetter these days, we want to know what trend you’re loving right now?
G: A trend that I’m loving right now is chrome nails. I even have them on my toes. Am I really late to the game? Feels like it. I’m repressed.

TV: Is there a trend you are predicting for spring/summer?
G: Probably a lot less clothes. You know, since the summer’s coming around, everyone’s just gonna be naked.
TV: Looking back, what advice would you give your teen self?
G: Oh, oh my gosh. I did just watch a video of myself dancing in high school. I’d probably just give myself the advice that nothing matters. Well, what do I want to say to her? Probably yeah, that literally nothing matters, and that honestly, I’m just gonna let that girl do what she wants. I’m not going to give her any secrets.
TV: We wouldn’t be where we are today without the moves or mistakes we made back then.
G: Exactly.

TV: I’m aware you were a dancer when you were younger and that your dream was to be a backup dancer in music videos? What would be a dream music video to be a part of?
G: I was in a few of Charli’s music videos, so that worked out. I honestly wanted to be a backup dancer for like Justin Timberlake and Usher, probably not anymore though. But I mean, Doechii’s performing tonight, so if she asked me to dance for her, I’d definitely dance for her.
