LIMA, OH (WLIO) – It will be an opportunity for women to learn from each other and support two local non-profits with much-needed items.
It is called “Baddies in Business”, an in-person networking event for women in the lima area to learn about resources available to them in the business world. Organizers say that most women are unaware of what is out there and there will be a panel discussion on what works best. To attend you are asked to bring four items to be donated to Guiding Light and the Samaritan House as a way to support women in need.
“It’s important because we can only grow within ourselves if we help each other, and we have to help ourselves to get to where we can help anybody in our own community before we can help outside,” said Megan Horton, owner of Mega Pop-Up
Ladies are asked to wear pink, bring their business cards, and don’t forget your donation items. It will be Saturday, March 9th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 701 South Main Street.
