Nordstrom and Coperni Gathered to Celebrate a New NYC Pop-up

Nestled on the corner of Houston and Elizabeth Street, Nordstrom’s women’s fashion director Rickie De Sole and Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant of Coperni welcomed friends of the brand to celebrate the new Coperni pop-up at Nordstrom’s NYC flagship with a cozy candlelit dinner at Rafs.

Just like the intricate Coperni designs, no detail was spared with this beautiful dinner party as hydrangea floral arrangements and (somehow) perfectly melted candles lined the booths along the back of the already chic restaurant. “They have such vision and such clarity around their brand and their image and I think tonight is an extension of that,” said Rickie De Sole. “Hopefully, you’re feeling a little bit of Coperni with everything you see here.”

The beauty of the decor very much translated to the beauty of the food as guests such as Leyna Bloom, Alex Consani, Tina Leung, Ethan James Green, Heidi Bivens, Chloe Wise, and Jason Rembert enjoyed a decadent French Italian meal of Rigatoni all Trapanese and Dry-Aged Cote De Boeuf. And to ensure the French designers felt properly welcomed to the city, Brynn Whitfield and Jessel Taank of Real Housewives New York City even showed up to join in the festivities.

“We are very excited about how Coperni is evolving. We launched four years ago and we have seen such beautiful growth,” Arnaud Vaillant, CEO of Coprerni, told Vogue. “Nordstrom has been very supportive of the brand for a long time. They started with accessories and then they launched ready to wear a year ago and then they offered us the opportunity to do this beautiful pop-up.”

The pop-up is located inside the Nordstrom flagship store at 225 W 57th St and will be open to the public until November 5th. The designers partnered with the Swedish furniture designer USM to help bring their first US pop-up store to life. “It’s timeless and is the perfect mix with Coperni, so we are very excited,” Vaillant told Vogue. “We are going to have a lot of ready-to-wear pieces and accessories—we are very excited.”
