BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio – Ohio Hi-Point Career Center proudly celebrated the achievements of its Nail Tech students on Monday, March 18, with a special Brush Ceremony marking their successful completion of the Nail Enhancements 101 class. At the ceremony, students were awarded certificates and their first professional brush kits.
In conjunction with Nail Tech instructor Ginger Shellenberger, professional mentors Tyann Scipio, an OHP cosmetology graduate from Salon Expo, and Alyssa Bush from Undertone on Main have been instrumental in preparing OHP’s Nail Tech students for this next career step as they provided demonstrations and guidance on applying gel and acrylic polish. They also served as judges for a variety of nail art competitions as students practiced different techniques and styles.
