OPI Nail Polish is celebrating the launch of its breakthrough GelColor Intelli-Gel System with a one-day pop-up event in West Hollywood on the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard, on Friday, October 18, 2024. It will to the public from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 8505 Santa Monica Blvd. Admission is free.
Attendees can enjoy photo opportunities throughout the space and sign up for a manicure featuring the new Intelli-Gel System. To guarantee a spot for the manicure, guests are encouraged to register online at TablesReady. Walk-up appointments may be available during the event.

OPI Co-Founder Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, known as the “First Lady of Nails,” attended a preview of the event last night. Weiss-Fischmann, a fashion icon in the beauty industry, recently released her book I’m Not Really a Waitress: How One Woman Took Over the Beauty Industry One Color at a Time, which details her journey with OPI and her rise to nail-industry fame.
The GelColor Intelli-Gel System is designed for professional wear, providing three weeks of high-shine durability. The innovative formula, which is vegan, HEMA-free, and TPO-free, offers full coverage on the first coat and true color on the second. It eliminates issues like color chasing, running, or flooding during application.

I told her to surprise me. It took about 20 minutes. She buffed my nails, then applied a GelColor base coat and cured my nails in the OPI dual cure light chamber. She then applied two thin coats of GelColor, and that’s when the fun began. She painted a spider, a spider web, “Boo,” and a jack-o-lantern. It’s some Halloween fun for my fingers.
