Oklahoma quarterback General Booty has entered the transfer portal, per a report by On3’s Pete Nakos.

The redshirt junior transferred to OU after spending a season at Tyler Junior College. He appeared in two games in as many years with the Sooners and sat behind starter Dillon Gabriel as well as backups Jackson Arnold and Davis Beville in 2023.
Despite the limited playing time, Booty announced an NIL deal with Rock ‘Em Socks featuring socks and underwear with “Booty” printed on the back ahead of the 2023 season.

Booty’s departure leaves sophomore and former five-star starter Jackson Arnold, seventh-year Casey Thompson and freshmen Michael Hawkins and Brendan Zurbrugg in the quarterback room. Booty and redshirt junior Jacob Switzer have entered the transfer portal.
