The founder of the popular Pirate’s Booty popcorn brand lost his bid for mayor and lost his cool on the citizens of a small town in Long Island, N.Y.
Robert Ehrlich was running for mayor of Sea Cliff, a small village about 26 miles northwest of Midtown Manhattan. On March 19, he lost to incumbent Elena Villafane by a vote of 1,064 to 62.
