Police have seized a haul of stolen items worth more than £900 following a routine traffic stop in the early hours of this morning (December 20).
The vehicle was stopped near Chorley shortly after 1am, according to Lancashire Constabulary. Officers are now hoping to reunite the goods with their rightful owner.
Items in the haul included 49 boxes of Ferrero Rocher, a bottle of Martini Rose and washing up capsules. Anyone missing these, or with information who may own them, has been urged to get in touch with Chorley and South Ribble Police.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Christmas time, Ferrero Rocher and wine. Last night at 1am our newest member of the Chorley and South Ribble Task Force PC Anderson stopped a car and located £900 worth of goods which we believe have been stolen.
“The goods were seized and we are looking to locate the rightful owner of these goods. The goods which were seized included 49 boxes of Ferrero Rocher, Persil capsules mega pack (24 packets), scent boosters, a bottle of Martini Rose and some Sparkling Water.
