Queen City News becomes official TV partner of 24 Hours of Booty fundraising event

(QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Queen City News is now the official TV sponsor of Charlotte’s popular 24 Hours of Booty cancer fundraising event in the Dilworth and Myers Park communities.

24 Hours of Booty isn’t a race or an endurance event. Event organizers said that riders and walkers can set their own mileage goals and get on and off the police-secured course as much as they would like during the 24 hours.

“Pitch a tent in Bootyville for some relaxing downtime in between your trips around the beautiful Myers Park Booty Loop,” event organizers said. Folks can also enjoy catered meals, snacks, and drinks in their food tent, including a midnight pizza party.

“Your passion has helped 24 Foundation raise more than $27 million for our beneficiaries – all who are doing their part to change the course of cancer,” organizers said.

Queen City News Now Anchor Jason Harper will also participate in the event. “We look forward to engaging in community events this year tied to the 24 Foundation and helping to make an immediate impact on the lives of people affected by cancer including support for cancer navigation and survivorship services,” event organizers said.

The 24 Foundation was founded by Spencer Lueders.
