Restaurant offering ‘booty calls’ and ‘situationships’ launches playful menu

No one likes to get stuck in a situationship, but you’ll most certainly want to tuck into this one.

Despite the term used to describe relationships which fail to get the exclusive stamp of approval, one restaurant is changing the very meaning of the limbo-esque love.

Hithe + Seek developed a rather romantic menu but altered the names of dishes that nod to a plethora of relationship highs, lows and woes.

A feast of exes and booty calls…

Head Chef, Fabio De Paolis, has curated a six-course wine-pairing experience with the assistance of wine connoisseur Hannah to get more than just taste-buds tingling this season of love.

While the impressively packed menu includes fancy Torched King Oyster Mushroom ‘Scallops’ and a dusting of edible rose petals, the pair have brought elegance and playfulness together.

An ‘ex’ has never looked better!

The small plate courses expertly paired with booze have had their names changed, so forget your bog-standard ‘starter’ and expect to be served a ‘Booty Call’, ‘The Anniversary’ and for desert ‘The Ex’.

Although you might want to forget your actual ex-partner, it looks like the ‘The Ex’ dessert might be one worth going back for. The cheekily titled dish is a “Chilli & Mango Mousse, Dark Chocolate Sphere, Edible Rose Petals.”

Well, a past lover never sounded better.

The menu is available Tuesday to Saturday from February 8 to March 2. For £99 per person, the menu features an aperitif cocktail, followed by six small plates to share accompanied by matching wines.
