Luxury Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli has opened a new 8,611 sq ft flagship store at 149 New Bond Street in London.
Located in a Victorian-era building, the store has several rooms spread over two floors. It features a gate crafted in brushed natural brass with a laser-cut zebra pattern, and a large LED wall welcome customers to the “showcase foyer”.
Through a corridor – and from room to room – “the customer is immersed in a shopping experience” with women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, accessories, couture, and Cavalli’s home collection in signature glamorous style.
The various rooms are characterised by refined materials, such as the natural oak flooring combined with animal print carpets, boiserie and furnishings in lacquered white, brushed, and polished natural brass, as well as mirrored walls complemented by Roberto Cavalli Home interiors furnishings and carpets.
The first room showcases bags, shoes, and accessories for men and women. That is the entry point into the central hall, distinguished by a skylight embellished with two grand Murano glass chandeliers in a baroque style, illuminating the ready-to-wear collections.
There’s a modern staircase up to the second floor, where a hall leads customers to the Roberto Cavalli Home collections. The journey continues in an all-white room with a view of New Bond Street, concluding in a ‘VIP Room’ showcasing the couture collection.
The New Bond Street boutique aligns with the Roberto Cavalli’s international development plan initiated in 2021 under the creative direction of Fausto Puglisi, and led by CEO, Sergio Azzolari, since April 2023.
