Rookie QBs Driving Texans and Colts – G-Moniy’s Week 4 NFL Thoughts

Anthony Richardson #5 of the Indianapolis Colts celebrates after scoring a touchdown against the Los Angeles Rams during the second half at Lucas Oil Stadium on October 01, 2023 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Week 4 of the NFL Season is officially in the books and it was another wild one. As usual, I have my thoughts on the week.

  • CJ Stroud of the Houston Texans, and Anthony Richardson of the Indianapolis Colts, have proven to be the best Rookie QBs in the 1st part of the season. They both have the most passing yards against Man Coverage so far.
  • The Giants and Jets are so bad they haven’t run a single offensive play while having the lead.
  • My Dallas Cowboys gave Bill Belichick his worst loss ever…beat the Patriots by 35!
  • Buffalo pretty much told the AFC that the Dolphins aren’t the team to watch out for, they are.
  • Washington took Philly to the limit but couldn’t finish the job.
  • The San Francisco 49ers put away the Arizona Cardinals fairly easily. The team that beat my Cowboys last week.
  • The Minnesota Vikings got their first win of the year over the Carolina Panthers who remain winless.
  • The Denver Broncos also won their first game this year by defeating the still-winless Chicago Bears
  • The Cincinnati Bengals look bad and Joe Burrow’s injury isn’t helping them.
  • The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a real threat to win the NFC South.
