    ABOUT SAINT LAURENT

    Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called ‘Rive Gauche’, synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio- cultural landscape.
    In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April
    2016, continues to position the house at the summit of the luxury universe.
    Today, Saint Laurent collections include women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.

    We are currently seeking a Human Resources Intern to be part of our dynamic team in New York, New York.

    ROLE

    You will support the Human Resources Department of Saint Laurent in various HR activities in order to achieve strategic goals of the company.

    MISSION

    • Assist HR team and be involved in day-to-day administrative work and processes
    • Collaborate with HR administration to track all signed employee documents (agreements, policies, new hire paperwork), reviewing paperwork, analyzing reports
    • Assist in recruitment efforts by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks
    • Assist in Federal and State labor law projects, Employee Relations, Training and Development and assist our US Boutiques with all HR related matters
    • Order, maintain, and organize office & kitchen supplies
    • Assist in Ad-Hoc projects as needed

    PROFILE

    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Well organized, detail-oriented, strong interpersonal skills, and time management skills
    • Strong Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills
    • Highly confidential, diplomatic, and tactful
    • Enthusiastic, proactive, eager to learn and willing to take on new challenges
    • Ability to take direction from multiple stakeholders, balance numerous projects simultaneously, prioritize deadlines and effectively work in a fast-paced environment
    • Must have availability in the office minimum 2-3 days a week
    • Previous HR internship experience a plus
