It’s no surprise that actress Sarah Hyland, 32, is busy. Between hosting Love Island USA, running her vitamin-infused chocolate company Source, and celebrating the holiday season with husband Wells Adams, suffice to say her schedule is packed.
But that doesn’t mean her health and fitness take a backseat. In fact, the Modern Family alum recently shared a clip of herself doing a Pilates booty workout, and the sweat sesh looks intense. With her hands and knees on the reformer machine, Sarah has the cable on her foot as she extends her leg out to the side, before sending it all the way behind her. This movement mainly strengthens the obliques, glutes, and hamstrings, while also working the posterior chain and quads.

Sarah is no stranger to the abs and booty-sculpting power of Pilates. The Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin star previously told Women’s Health that she uses a reformer or goes to Rise Up Pilates in California five to six times per week. Sarah also told WH she’s more of a weightlifting girl, so Pilates is a nice challenge. “My abs have never looked better than from when I do Pilates,” she said. “It’s really hard for me to get that muscle in my lower abs.”
When she’s not crushing a Pilates workout or lifting, Sarah likes to take her dog Boo for a walk to get her heart rate up and her steps in, she also shared with WH.
When it comes to her nutrition, Sarah starts her day with coffee and green juice. She’s a big fan of Bloom Nutrition’s Greens & Superfoods powder, which can be added to smoothies or juice for an extra dose of digestive enzymes, probiotics, and antioxidants, she told WH. Sarah says she has a wrap for lunch, or a Caesar salad, and then indulges at dinner.
Dinner is usually burgers or chicken nuggets, Sarah shared, or “a five-year-old’s dream,” as she called it. She also digs shrimp tacos, cooked up by her husband Wells. He includes raw white onion, cilantro, and cheese in the recipe, per Sarah.
