Yet another sci-fi movie where Johansson is busy kicking bad-guy butt is The Island, where she’s a product of an illegal cloning experiment. Featuring as a clone of super-model Sarah Jordan, Johansson’s character was initially told that she’s part of a group of survivors from an apocalypse. However, after learning the truth, the clone of Sarah gears up and carries out some physics-defying action sequences (which include flying motorbike stunts) and returns to free her fellow clones and saves the day.
5. The Avengers series — Disney + Hotstar
Be it The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, or Avengers: Endgame, Natasha Romanoff aka the Black Widow has been the least likely to give in to impulse or suffer from a God Complex — something that almost all the other Avengers are guilty of. Her action sequences as a lithe, stealthy and (usually) leather-clad character that blends the very best of karate, judo, kung fu, and wrestling, are a treat to watch on screen.
