Selena Gomez is back at it again with another clean girl manicure for spring. After signing off on the soap nails trend, Gomez is continuing her nail spring cleaning with a minimalist milk bath manicure. The look was created by her longtime manicurist Tom Bachik, who shared a photo of Gomez showing off her nails in a mirror selfie. “Spring has sprung,” Bachik wrote in the caption.
Gomez finished off the look with a spring-ready yellow sundress and thin hoop earrings. As for her glam, she kept things simple with black liner, shimmery lids, and glossy lips, while her Old Hollywood bob was pulled back into a sleek updo.

Instead of her signature long almond nail shape, Gomez opted for short and round nails which only elevated the fresh and clean look of the mani. It’s the most pared back nail look Gomez has worn in months. Some of her most recent looks include colorful sets like lavender milk nails, cobalt blue, cherry-coded red, and peach champagne.
Milk bath nails have become popular for its sheer milky color worn by celebs like Jennifer Lopez and Meghan Markle. If you’re a fan of white nail polish, you’ll definitely love milk bath nails, which are a much more soft and muted version. If you want some color, the milk bath look also works on pastels.
“We’re leaning towards soft light shades like lavender, mint, peach, and baby blues, which are really great and give an airy vibe,” celebrity nail artist Elle Gerstein told Glamour. Even better news for nail art lovers: “Pastels are also great for some of spring’s trending designs, including florals and French manicures,” she says.
