Chappell dropped jaws when she appeared on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon in a feather-embellished outfit — complete with six-inch claws.

AMAZING ARTIST 

Her nail artist Juan Alvear took inspiration from 2003’s Barbie of Swan Lake for the eye-catching look. 

“When you look at them up close, each nail mimics the quill of a plucked feather,” Alvear told Vogue. 

“I achieved this look using Artic Jelly and Buttercup Jelly from Essie in a gradient from opaque to translucent, then adding in striation detailing. 

“I also applied long wisps of ostrich feathers for the full effect.

“I wanted them to have movement and stage presence while Chappell performed.”

Alvear shared a close-up photo of Chappelle’s nails on Instagram, where almost 61,000 people liked the snap. 

One fan described the nail art as a “cool way to elevate” the 26-year-old’s entire look, while another said the manicure was “main character” energy.

“If you’re not wearing nails, you’re not doing drag,” a third said.

Others confessed they were fixated on Chappell’s “amazing” talons throughout her time on Fallon’s show.
