Styles P plans to ring in his 49th birthday in true Hip-Hop fashion. The rapper has announced the Styles P Bday Sesh, hosted by Jadakiss at Irving Plaza in New York City on Nov. 27smoke.
With opening sets by Smoke DZA and Steel Sessions, featuring the incredible talents of Oswin Benjamin, Iman Nunez, and Katt Rockell, the event is promised as an unforgettable experience. Adding to the lineup, Willie J Peso and Messiah will serve as supporting acts, trusted with keeping the crowd hype all night long.
Styles P himself will also take the stage, performing with a live band with special guest Brady Watt of Bass Bar. Tickers are available through Live Nation.
The annual celebration is also marked by a handful of collaborations including “The Ghost,” with Doja Pak, Mechanics Farm, and Strain Gang, as well as a diamond-encrusted flower collaboration with Strain Gang and VS1 by Kingston Royal.
“I wanted to make my 49th birthday unforgettable for my fans, so we’ve got some special surprises in store. It’s going to be a night of hip-hop, celebration, and great music,” Styles P explained.
The New York Native’s birthday affair comes the month after he announced the Respect My Legacy Tour, which will mark his final series of concerts as a solo artist. With 11 stops, the trek kicks off with the aforementioned concert, followed by shows in Philadelphia, Boston, Los Angeles, Houston, and more.
At the top of the year, Styles P released Penultimate: A Calm Wolf Is Still A Wolf, his 15th solo studio album.
In 2022, Styles P announced his retirement explaining, “I believe I have run myself down a tad bit over the past few years.”
