“Such an instigator”: Baddies Midwest fans react to Akbar being a “peacemaker” between Jela and Big Lex

The Zeus Network’s Baddies Midwest aired its latest episode on November 24, 2024. One of the segments in the fifth episode featured Akbar V trying to navigate the intense situation between Jelaminah “Jela” Lanier and Big Lex.

Fans must remember how Big Lex, an OG cast member, was accused of bullying fellow cast members in the previous episode. Big Lex also accused Jela of not fighting with other baddies of her size and that she has been avoiding fights.

Akbar called Big Lex to resolve the issue between Big Lex and Jela. However, because she was the “peacemaker,” Big Lex and Jela eventually got into a physical altercation in the living room.

Seeing how the situation that Akbar wanted to resolve turned into a fistfight, Baddies Midwest fans took to social media platform X and reacted.

One of the fans commented as to how Akbar has been acting like a “peacemaker” among the cast members:

“What’s with Akbar and acting like peacemaker? She’s far from that omg such an instigator. #BaddiesMidwest.”

Baddies Midwest Episode 5: Akbar as a “peacemaker” on the show

The fifth episode of Baddies Midwest featured a fistfight between Jela and Big Lex. The fight was because Big Lex accused Jela of not fighting with baddies of “her size.” Their arguments continued from the show’s previous episode.

To stop them from getting into a physical altercation, Akbar tried to resolve the issue by discussing the cause of the argument. Once Jela explained what happened between her and Big Lex, Akbar shared that she didn’t “approve” of Big Lex calling Jela a “bully.”

Akbar also shared how she wanted to resolve the issue between the two fellow Baddies and, if possible, wanted them to “reconsider” their differences.

“Yo, the girl basically, like, out of the clear blue yonder was like, “oh, you know, Jela, I’m calling you out.” Because I feel like you don’t ever fight anybody your size. B****, first of all, of course, no one is my size,” confessed Jela.

Soon, the Baddies Midwest star Akbar called Big Lex to sort things out between her and Jela. Despite Akbar’s efforts to resolve the issue, they both ended up in a physical altercation.

Another cast member, Rollie, who was also present in the living room at the time, told the cameras:

“We having a conversation. Next thing you know, Akbar, you know, she brings up the little basketball girl, which is Big Lex. Her name is Big Lex. But Akbar is so f****** funny, but I just felt like, it was gonna be some s*** if she would go get that girl.”

Later on, Rollie told Big Lex and Jela that they could feel “how the f*** they felt.”

The Zeus Network is now streaming five episodes of Baddies Midwest.
