Chuck D is the leader and co-founder of the legendary rap group Public Enemy, as well as a social activist, multimedia producer, visual artist and digital music pioneer. As part of Public Enemy, he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 and has earned a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. His “naphic grovel” trilogy STEWdio was the debut release on his Enemy Books Imprint with Akashic Books. He is also the illustrator and author of “Livin’ Loud: Artitation” (with the near DEF Experience). His latest “naphic grovel” titled “Summer of Hamn” takes on how America is held hostage by gun violence.
