After checking out the ‘Lucky Green’ version earlier this year, Jordan Brand has now revealed a brand new Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Method of Make.’ Inspired by luxury handbags and all the finer things in life, it is one deeply haute sneaker.
While the ‘Lucky Green’ took cues from Bottega Veneta, the ‘Black’ seems to nod to pieces that you might get from Prada. Dipped from heel to toe in all-black, the usual smooth leather construction has now been replaced with a slightly textured one, which is pretty similar to the Italian house’s signature Saffiano leather. Shiny Swooshes feature across the lateral sidewalls, and you’ll also find special ‘Metallic Gold’ plaques that wrap around the tongue and back, just to really drive this whole premium theme home.
Thick leather stitching makes its way to the toebox and heel, and underfoot, the Air midsole is submerged in complete darkness. All of this then comes packed in a limited edition shoebox that has been made exclusively for this limited edition shoe. Nice!
