Tinder is helping us nail dating!

Tinder is opening a free, yes free, pop-up nail bar, to help empower singles on their dating journey!

The dating app has partnered with a not-for-profit organisation, NO MORE, focused on ending domestic and sexual violence, to open a free nail bar called Nailing Dating. As well as this, they have released their ‘Ten Tips’ offering advice ensuring singles are in control of their dating experience – from managing the pace of meeting someone new to communicating non-negotiables up front.

What’s the catch I hear you say? None! (that we are aware of…) Just head down to the nail bar, receive a free gel manicure (with optional nail art) and take part in workshops offering tips on navigating the modern dating scene.

The campaign comes off the back of research that found whilst 57% of single women aged 18-35 openly discuss their dating experiences when getting their nails done, 75% hold back from discussing their dating lives with close friends and family.

“With a relationship formed every three seconds on Tinder, our Nailing Dating nail bar aims to shine a spotlight on having healthy, open conversations about all aspects of dating in an environment where many of us feel comfortable. Together with our NGO partner, NO MORE, we want to equip all singles with tangible advice to ensure that they feel empowered from the very beginning of their dating journey.”

The nail bar opens on October 25-26, 2024 and all you have to do is book an appointment through the website! It is first-come, first-served though, so make sure to be quick!
