Now that spring football has concluded nationwide, many transfer portal entrants have begun to find new locations.
General Booty, the son of former LSU wide receiver Abram Booty, is headed to ULM to play quarterback for new head coach Bryant Vincent who will be entering his first season with the Warhawks. He served as offensive coordinator at New Mexico in 2023.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Booty first played at Tyler JUCO before heading to Oklahoma. He only appeared in two games during his two seasons in Norman, Oklahoma. After entering the portal, Booty drew interest from Iowa, Tulsa, UTSA and Samford.
Former Archbishop Rummel star Pig Cage is headed to Louisiana Tech. He first played at Nicholls before transferring to LSU and then landing at UTSA. Cage (5-9, 190) has lined up at safety, nickel and linebacker.
In his senior campaign at Rummel, he collected 124 tackles, with 19 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks as the Raiders managedan unblemished 13-0 record and a state title in 2019.
Former Covington safety Ian Goodley excelled at Southeastern Louisiana, earning All-Southland Conference this past season after recording 109 tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss and an interception. The 6-foot, 175-pounder will have two years remaining after transferring to Troy.

Former Tulane linebacker A.J. Thomas has transferred to McNeese State. He signed with the Green Wave as a 3-star prospect out of Zachary in 2023 but didn’t play last season. Thomas (6-3, 230) will have four years of eligibility.
Hunter Summers (6-3, 170), a 2023 Tulane signee, has transferred to Arkansas State. The Prosper, Texas product will play wide receiver.
