Twins who underwent ‘outrageous amounts of surgery’ but it’s a ‘commercial tactic’, say fans

Clermont Twins, Shannon and Shannade, on BGC, looked seriously different before and after surgery. Fans reckon it’s a “commercial tactic” while others think the amount of surgery is “outrageous”.

Bad Girls Club originals, known as the Clermont Twins, are now starring on Baddies Caribbean. They are known for having undergone plastic surgery over the years – which some believe is “botched”.

Clermont twins before and after

The Clermont twins looked very different before undergoing surgery. However, fans think the whole thing is a “commercial tactic” rather than an attempt to look natural or beautiful.

One Reddit user wrote, “I think its not about being pretty. It is about being noticeable which is a commercial tactic. I bet many girls are prettier than them and they can’t compete by just getting prettier.”

Another said, “Damn, they used to be real good looking now I’d be scared to meet them in a dark alley,” while a long-time fan penned, “I don’t get it too. The “originals” were cute, the new ones are artificial.”

Baddies stars’ ‘outrageous’ surgery

The Clermont twins had disappeared for a few months after their initial fame on Bad Girls Club, to suddenly come back later with bleached skin, Botox plump lips, and nose jobs.

They have had at least 20 backside lifts and altered the morphology of their chin and lips. Shannon refers to her sister, Shannade, as her “surgery bestie” as they get matching procedures.

Since getting surgery, they’ve gained more attention, including for the Yeezy campaign in 2018. Now, they’re back on reality TV for Baddies Caribbean – a moment fans have been waiting for!

BGC made Clermont twins famous

Going on Bad Girls Club in 2015 made Shannon and Shannade famous. They were two of the seven original cast members on season 14, which they went on so “people would know who they are”.

However, they were surgery-free at that point and only went under the knife after the show. The twins, from Georgia, didn’t come from generational wealth but have since built their dream lives.
