Vanna White’s fortunes are getting brighter.
The Wheel of Fortune star recently negotiated a long awaited salary bump from $3 million dollars a year to $10 million annually for through 2026, following host Pat Sajak’s announcement that season 41 of the game show would be his last.
Now she is turning the page on another venture – makeup.
The 66-year-old has signed a deal, collaborating on a Wheel of Fortune x Laura Geller Beauty Limited Edition Collection.
In a spot for the line, a mostly makeup-free Vanna appears on set in a white bathrobe with the Wheel theme music playing in the background.
‘I’ve always had the knack to make things little more “glamorous”‘, she said with emphasis while touching the screen and unveiling the word on the puzzle board.
‘A nice sparkle to make things feel “oo-la-la,”‘ she continued as she magically changes from the dressing gown to a sequined navy blue gown.
‘And nothing makes me feel more glamorous than my makeup,’ she declared switching from a natural look to a camera ready face.
She then explained that after having brought glamor into fans’ homes for more than 40 years, she was ‘proud to introduce the Laura Geller Wheel of Fortune Makeup collection.’
According to the beauty brand’s Instagram page, The limited edition collection includes: Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer: Million Bucks Edition, Face The Wheel Blush Palette, a Dual-Ended Eye and Face Brush, Prizewinning Eyeshadow Palette, Kajal Longwear Eyeliner in Glitz-n-Glam, and Modern Classic Cream Lipstick in Big Money Red.
In an interview with People, the game show host said she wants fans to see the real her.
‘I think wrinkles are beautiful,’ Vanna claimed.
‘Someone who is completely with no lines, they don’t have any character. Be natural, be yourself and have personality.’
The former model continued, ‘I am older and I accept my lines and wrinkles. Will I ever have plastic surgery? Maybe. But I’m kind of scared to do that. I’m not trying to look 30 years old again because I’m not.’
The Hollywood Walk of Fame inductee was delighted with the whimsical product line and its salute the show that has made her a household name.
‘They brought it to me and asked, “What do you think of this?” And I absolutely loved it!’
‘It’s just so cute and it works so well,’ she added.
Vanna gave her input on the Big Money Red lipstick.
‘I feel like we all need a red lipstick in our life. To me, it’s the perfect one,’ she stated.
‘I think it works with a lot of skin tones. I think it’s perfect for everyone.’
And she’s a big fan of the Kajal Longwear Eyeliner in Glitz-n-Glam.
‘The eyeliner you can use day or night — the color works for everyone. I’m still learning, of course, because this is a new venture.’
‘Hopefully, this is the start of something big.’
Laura Geller focuses her line on mature skin, and is a big fan of Vanna’s, so it seemed only reasonable if the two could be combined in a winning way.
‘She just represents natural beauty,’ the makeup mogul explained to the outlet.
‘She represents us and embodies our mission perfectly — that women don’t disappear after 40. They just don’t.’
The commercial and its accompanying announcement were shared on social media and the collaboration is getting high marks from fans.
‘Kudos for choosing someone who isn’t 20!!’ wrote one satisfied customer. ‘Vanna is beautiful and a perfect spokesperson.’
‘Good for Vanna for aging gracefully she looks fantastic!’ exclaimed another.
