SANFORD, Maine — The Waypoint Music Fest is set for Saturday, June 1, with Motor Booty Affair headlining the event.
This year’s Music Fest, formerly Tele-Fest, has an electrifying lineup, including Dock Squares.
This festival is about more than just music; it’s about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism and intellectual developmental disabilities.
Proceeds from the Music Fest will directly support Waypoint’s children’s programs, providing educational and adjunct therapies to children pre-K to grade 5 at Fraser Ford School in Sanford. Waypoint’s children’s services include case management, BCBA services, and family support through its Behavioral Health Home to help children thrive and meet their full potential.
The Music Fest will kick off at 2 p.m. and continue to 6 p.m., at 5 Dunaway Drive in Sanford, at Waypoint’s historic waterfront. Attendees can indulge in food from local food trucks, including Bubba Frye’s and Pam and Fam Forkin Good Grub, and at the beer garden sponsored by Shipyard Brewing Company. Generated by Central Furniture and Ocean State Job Lot, exciting raffle items include a Webber grill, Adirondack chairs, an outdoor fire pit, and a kayak.
Tickets for this event are available to purchase at www.waypointmaine.org. Choose from two types of tickets: General tickets are priced at $30 each, or opt for the general ticket package, which includes a T-shirt and koozie for $55.
The event is sponsored by HM Payson and organizers say local sponsors and donors make this day possible. Donations can be made online at www.waypointmaine.org, via phone, or by joining us in person at the event.
