HOLIDAY FOLK FAIR INTERNATIONALNov. 17-19 — 80th annual multi-cultural festival. At the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis. Advance tickets are on sale for $13, through Nov. 16, at folkfair.org. Admission at the gate is $16 (free for children up to age 7). The folk fair features international performers and artisans, photographic exhibits, cultural murals produced by Milwaukee Public Schools students, the Artisan corner, the Dirty Kettle Native American interactive display, the Wisconsin Woodturners, and a bonsai exhibit.

MAYOR’S TURKEY DAY RUNNov. 23 — Downtown Kenosha, starting at 9 a.m. outside the Kenosha Public Museum, 5500 First Ave. 10K run and a 2-mile run/walk. T-shirts are available to the first 1,500 race entrants. A link to register in advance online can be found at kenosharunningclub.org. The cost is $25 for adults and $20 for ages 14 and younger through Nov. 21. The last day to register is Wednesday, Nov. 22, at the packet pickup day. The cost that day is $30 for adults and $25 for runners age 14 and younger. There is no race-day registration, but participants can pick up race packets from 7:30 to 8:45 on race day.
