Women Rappers Highlighted At “The Gold Standard” Art Exhibit

On July 30th, Spotify unveiled “The Gold Standard,” a private art exhibit celebrating top women rappers at The Hole Gallery in New York City. The art exhibit featured vibrant portraits of major Hip-Hop figures like Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, Ice Spice, Saweetie, and more.The event also offered a unique opportunity for fans to connect with the artists through personal interactions and photo opportunities. This added a special touch to the celebration of these influential women in music.

Notable attendees included Latto, Sexyy Red, and Flo Milli, who mingled with fans and posed next to their portraits. The artwork was created by Manon Biernacki, who shared her creative intent: “Through my art, I strive to capture the essence of human emotions and states of mind, using vibrant colors and bold shapes to transform the mundane into the magical. And that’s what I’ve strived to do with my portraits of these amazing women for Spotify’s ‘The Gold Standard Exhibit.’”

Influencers and media members were also present, enjoying complimentary drinks as they explored the gallery. A highlight of the exhibition was The Cloud Room, which showcased a large group portrait of all the featured artists. The event opened to the public for one day only on July 31st. This allowed fans to experience the stunning portraits up close. It also provided an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of these leading women in Hip-Hop.
