CITIES AND FANS PAYING TRIBUTE AND CELEBRATING THE CULTURE THAT HIP HOP CREATED. IT’S INFLUENCE HAS BEEN SEEN THROUGH MANY GENERATIONS, DEFINING IT. EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK, YOU CAN SEE THE IMPACT OF HIP HOP CULTURE FROM FASHION TO ART AND EVEN MODERN TELEVISION AND ITS INFLUENCE. LOCAL MUSIC BALTIMORE CLUB MUSIC COULD NOT EXIST IF IT WEREN’T FOR THE RISE OF THE DJ CLUB. MUSIC, IN TURN, CAN BE HEARD IN SOME OF TODAY’S BIGGEST RAP SONGS IN TERMS OF IT BEING A 50TH ANNIVERSARY. I MEAN, TO GO FROM LIKE LISTENING TO CASSETTES IN A BOOM BOX OF LIKE THE COLD CRUSH BROTHERS AND THE FOURSOME SEEDS AND ALL OF THESE EARLY RAP GROUPS THAT WERE TRAVELING THROUGHOUT THE FIVE BOROUGHS IN NEW YORK AND WRITING RHYMES ON AN IRONING BOARD TO CELEBRATING 50 YEARS ON THE BIGGEST STAGE IS IN ARENAS. AND, YOU KNOW, WITH PEOPLE COMING WHO HAVE GROWN UP WITH THE CULTURE, IT’S IT’S AN AMAZING FEELING. ON FRIDAY. LL COOL J BROUGHT HIS FOURTH TOUR TO BALTIMORE CFG BANK ARENA.
