Burglars Decamp With Booty Worth Over ₹10l |

Nagpur: Burglars decamped with valuables worth ₹3 lakh and ₹73,000 in cash from the house of Dhaneshwari Ashok Patil in Indira Society, at Bhilgaon.
Yashodhara Nagar police said the theft took on October 2 when the house was locked.
In another incident, thieves entered the house of one Shahjhan Mohammed Rasul in Bande Nawaz Nagar between September 18 and October 3 when he was out of town and stole valuables worth ₹6.57 lakh including ₹3.70 lakh in cash. Yashodhara Nagar police are probing further.
2 die in separate accidents
Two persons died after being crushed by speeding travels buses in separate incidents. On Tuesday around 6.30pm, Jitendra Raghunath Thawre (53, a resident of Bada Indira) was crossing the road when a speeding travels bus hit him, killing him on the spot at Waddhamana. Wadi Police have registered a case against the driver Sheikh Mahmood Sheikh Wahab (55, a resident of Kamgar Nagar). In the second incident, a 40-year-old unidentified man after crushed under a bus (AP-29-BB-4437) in Tajbagh area. The Sakkardara police have registered case against the driver Mohammad Zakir Mohammad Yusurf (48, a resident of Yakubpura, Hyderabad).
Youth held for rape attempt
Relatives of a minor girl on Tuesday foiled a 22-year-old man’s attempt to rape her in Gittikadan. After thrashing the youth, identified as Lakshmiprasad Singh, the relatives handed him over to Gittikhadan police.
Police said the girl stays with her parents in an under construction building where Lakshmiprasad works as a labourer. Lakshmiprasad allegedly tried to molest the girl while she was asleep. tnn

The girl was found hanging at her house, and her father received a call from a man who claimed to be his son’s friend and said that his daughter-in-law had threatened the girl. The girl’s alleged male friend and his wife pleaded with the father not to register a police complaint, but when he declined, they threatened him.
