John Lewis confirms 19 new third-party brands

In July, the retailer told Drapers that it will start stocking womenswear brands Vivere, Olivia Rubin and Sister Jane in August.

John Lewis became the first retailer to stock new premium brand Vivere. The new womenswear brand was launched on 6 July by The Radius Group founder Damian Hopkins and fashion designer Savannah Miller.

Today (6 September), the John Lewis Partnership confirmed all 19 brands that will be added to its third-party brand offering.

The new additions include 10 womenswear brands, six brands offering both women’s and menswear, two accessories brands and one specialising in footwear.

John Lewis commercial director Kathleen Mitchell said: “We have long been the place where brands come to life, whether that is hosting global names or nurturing newcomers. Last year was our biggest year for fashion, it was up 13% on the year and we’ve seen a really strong response to spring/summer[23] – so we believe we are on the right track.
