Luxury central Auckland handbag store targeted by thieves in smash and grab

Thieves have targeted a luxury handbag store in central Auckland for the second time in almost as many months. 

Crews were left cleaning up at Lavish Luxury after a group of young people smashed their way in at about 10pm on Monday.

It’s understood up to six offenders were involved.  

In July, the same store was targeted by hammer-wielding thieves who threatened staff and stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of designer handbags.
