When deputies arrived, they found Tre’ Booty in a vehicle with what looked like blood on his clothing.
LAFOURCHE PARISH, La. — The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested a Lockport man for allegedly stabbing a man to death on Sunday.
18-year-old Tre’ Booty of Lockport got into an altercation with 20-year-old Hunter Parks of Larose, according to investigators. Booty allegedly stabbed parked multiple times during the altercation.
Deputies responded to a call of a stabbing around 12:20 p.m. When deputies arrived, they found Booty in a vehicle with what looked like blood on his clothing. Deputies immediately arrested him.
Other deputies at the scene found Parks with several stab wounds to his body. LPSO said they attempted lifesaving measures on the victim until EMTs arrived. Parks was later pronounced dead.
Booty was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex. He was charged with second-degree murder and his bail is set at $500,000.
