After it was announced in September that Mauricio Umansky was hitting the dance floor as a part of his next project, Kyle Richards revealed how the situation was going a few weeks in.
“He’s shared with me some of his videos,” she explained during a recent Amazon Live. “I already knew that was gonna be a lot of work. I’m like ‘Yeah, you have fun with that!’”
In addition to having fun on the dance floor, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills dad seems to be having fun with his look as well, recently showing off some incredible nail art perfect for the fall season.
Mauricio Umansky sports a new manicure
On October 18, Mauricio took to his Instagram to share a photo with his dancing partner. Upon closer look, we realized the West Coast dad was rocking black nail polish, aka the perfect, fall-ready manicure.
More photos from Maurcio’s recent activities showed how the manicure provided an ideal accompaniment to his dramatic costume.
Mauricio says the skin-baring photos will keep him motivated
From the aforementioned Amazon Live session, Kyle also noted that Mauricio was “very sore from dancing so much.” Considering the realtor’s latest fitness routines, we’re thinking he’s been sufficiently prepped for such an occasion.
In an Instagram post over the summer, Mauricio provided an update on his years-long fitness journey with a few before-and-after photo, the first of which were two shirtless selfies recently taken inside his home gym.
“I was planning on posting this for my Birthday but I was in Aspen and there has been a lot of noise,” he captioned the carousel of photos. “[Six] years ago I was fat and out of shape[,] the plan is to get better every year. I need to post this to keep me going and every guy [knows] you don’t post unless you just worked out and are all pumped up lol.”
A day after Mauricio’s update, Kyle took some time to reflect on her own health journey, explaining in an Instagram post how giving up alcohol has improved her life. While the California mom noted her sobriety decision was “met with resistance by some,” she refused “to fall prey to peer pressure.”
“All I know is I have never felt better physically or been more clear mentally,” Kyle continued. “Mainly people are supportive even if they didn’t quite understand since I don’t have a ‘problem’ with alcohol. Although trust me plenty of times it didn’t feel like that. Alcohol made me feel depressed the next day no matter how fun the night before was. And honestly, life is going to throw us some difficult days. I certainly don’t need to be adding any extra ones to that list.”
