Prosapio: Pups, owner imagine they have what it takes to nab baddies

I’m still down with the flu, which means we’ve been binge watching way too many police procedurals. Archer, our all-American terrier mix and my biggest fan, hasn’t left my side. He clearly prefers when we watch the police procedurals versus old episodes of the Dog Whisperer, another flu-season stand by.

Archer is not a fan of dog whispering. During an episode where the Dog Whisperer tackled with an unruly terrier, I swear he rolled his eyes. It’s fair since he is the type of dog that no trainer ever gets called about. I mean other than maybe he should have less parmesan cheese on his kibble, he is vice-free. He loves everyone, doesn’t bark much and other than being firmly anti dog crate (it’s the principle of the thing, he says), he’s easy going.
