Rihanna Previews Sultry Savage X Fenty Maternity Line

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – MAY 01: Rihanna attends The 2023 Met Gala Celebrating “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line Of Beauty” at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 01, 2023 in New York City.

Rihanna is expanding her Savage X Fenty brand. The singer-turned-businesswoman previewed a new maternity collection on social media Wednesday (Aug. 9).

If you’re looking for boring prints or regular maternity wear, you won’t find them here. In typical RiRi fashion, the line will bring out the sexy and sultry side of motherhood which the Bajan mogul accomplishes in the first look of the capsule.

“Not ur mama’s maternity bras…designed by @badgalriri, approved by baby RZA 🫶🏾 #SavageXMaternity,” the Savage X Fenty page captioned three photos of RiRi and baby RZA.

“The new maternity capsule is about bringing that confidence and comfort to moms at every stage of their journeys,” Rihanna said in a statement, per PEOPLE. “I want to remind people that you can still channel sexiness and feel good while being a parent.”

Currently, the collection features three bralette styles and an oversized graphic tee that reads in bold print, “make more babies.” Sizes range from XXS to 4X, with prices ranging from $35 to $60, according to Vogue.

Rihanna is currently pregnant with her second child with boyfriend A$AP Rocky. The couple welcomed their son RZA in May of last year. During RiRi’s Super Bowl Halftime performance, she announced that she and A$AP Rocky are expecting again.

A$AP confirmed their son’s name with a birthday post.

“WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN” HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN. RZA [red heart emoji],” A$AP captioned a carousel of family photos.

At this year’s Met Gala, Rihanna explained how her second pregnancy differs from her first one.

“No cravings. Tons of nausea. Everything’s different, but I’m enjoying it,” she told Entertainment Tonight at the time.

While the Super Bowl was offered to Rihanna previously, she told Billboard that this year was the right time for her to perform. The singer gushed about how becoming a mother gave her even more strength to take on the gig head-on.

“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world. The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all … It’s important for my son to see that.”
