A pair of thieves robbed luxury handbag store Rebag of over $200k worth of designer goods in a brazen heist caught on camera.

Two burglars were caught on camera as they looted the popular designer resell brand’s SoHo location located at 390 W Broadway, New York City.

The robbery took place at around 11 pm on Monday evening.

After sneaking through the basement door of the NYC retailer they broke multiple glass display cases and grabbed whatever they could get their hands on before taking off.

The suspects managed to flee with a stash of luxury items ranging from $3,000 to $27,000 per item.

Amongst the items reported to be stolen by the suspected robbers were Hermes handbags and jewelry pieces.

Investigators said that the two thieves stole $225,000 worth of goods from the high-end resale business.

Police are searching for the suspects, who are both suspected to males in their 40s, around 5 foot 7 who were wearing dark-colored clothing at the time of the heist.

They were last seen near Fresh Pond Road and 60th Road in Queens.

Rebag has still not reopened to the public as of Friday morning while the search for the suspected robbers continues.

This is not the first time Rebag has been targeted by thieves – the luxury retailer suffered a similar incident in May, 2022.

A pack of five thieves walked into the SoHo shop during business hours and smashed through glass display cases with a hammer before taking off with the stolen foods.

The crew managed to flee with $24,700 worth of designers handbags.

Police managed to track down one of the alleged robbers, 25-year-old Ricardo Forde, who was arrested and charged with robbery, grand larceny, assault and reckless driving among other counts.

Rebag’s Los Angeles location in Arcadia was targeted last December after a group of four men charged into the store and similarly used hammers to bash through display cases.

Looters in 2020 managed to bag over $375k worth of designer purses from the NYC Rebag shop.

Surveillance footage from the 2020 incident showed the group of thieves clutching Hermes, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and Balenciaga items inside the SoHo store

Rebag is known for re-selling luxury and designer bags that have been inspected and certified by experts.

The company also sells watches, jewelry, shoes and apparel.

It’s unclear how the shop plans to reimburse any sellers who may have consigned the bags stolen during the heist, or if the company’s insurance can cover the losses.
