If there’s one thing in this world I know to be true, it’s that Anitta is not a shy queen. And that’s one of the reasons she’s been taking the music industry by storm. Well, this Grammy Award-winning singer just dropped a new photo shoot on Instagram, and it’s so… Anitta.
In the pics, the 30-year-old star can be seen doing various poses in cut-off shorts with massive holes for her booty cheeks. There’s Anitta flashing her toned butt and strong legs at the camera while bending over slightly, followed by Anitta full-on squatting in the short-thong hybrid ‘fit while flashing the camera a look.
Her caption is pretty much everything: “👀.” And obviously, people were all over it in the comments. “Almost passed out 😍😍😍🔥,” one wrote, while another chimed in with, “Sheesh girl!!! 🔥🔥🔥.”
If you’re curious to know more about her leg and glute workout routines, Women’s Health has got you covered. Anitta previously told Women’s Health that working out isn’t her favorite. But the “Envolver” singer said she has a consistent plan to help her perform her super cardio-heavy routines onstage. She shared that she does a lot of strength training “particularly [of] the muscles [in the] legs, arms, back, and boom boom,” or, the booty. Basically, she does a lot of squats.
Also in the mix? Yoga and Pilates. “Pilates helps so much with my back and [other] physical problems,” she said. That’s not all, though: Anitta said she ~also~ does martial arts, things like Muay Thai or jiu-jitsu, once a week.
On the food front, Anitta has said that “it’s all about balance.” And with all that working out, you best bet this singer knows how to fuel her body properly.
“People look at my body and they say, ‘Oh no, you don’t eat the things you say you eat,’ but actually I do,” she said. Anitta shared that she tries to follow a healthy diet most of the day, which leaves her room for a little more freedom for snacks and in the evenings. Worth noting, though: She follows a vegan diet.
Breakfast is usually celery juice and oatmeal pancakes with peanut butter (uh, yum!), while lunch is often a salad with “either mushrooms, beans, or maybe sweet potatoes,” she said.
She usually eats dinner at home. “I like the experience of bringing people home,” Anitta said. “I think outside of Brazil, people are more about dinners, but here it’s more about ‘Let’s go to each other’s houses.’”
